PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, praying to direct the respondent police to register FIR based on complaint of the petitioner dated 12.04.2021 registered in Reference No. RUT21051313 and to take further action in accordance with law.

ORDER

(This case has been heard through video conference) This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction directing the respondent police to register F.I.R. based on the complaint of the petitioner dated 12.04.2021 and to take further action in accordance with law.

2. The contention of learned counsel appearing for petitioner is that, the petitioner had sent a complaint through online on 12.04.2021, but no action has been taken. Despite the petitioner brutally attacked and the complaint reveals commission of cognizable offence.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that the complaint was received only through online and thereafter, the respondent police visited the address, which was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

given in the complaint and on enquiry, the petitioner was not found in the said address. He would further submit that if the petitioner submits the copy of complaint and appears before the respondent police along with medical records, the case would be dealt with.

4. The learned counsel appearing for petitioner would submit that immediately, the petitioner would approach the respondent and submit the complaint along with other records in support of her complaint.

5. Recording the submissions made by learned counsel appearing for petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
