Company Application No.176 of 2019 in Company Petition No.3 of 1983 N.SATHISH KUMAR, J., This Company Application has been filed by the learned Official Liquidator (a) to take this report on record, (b) to pass an interim stay on proceeding of Highways Department at the premises of Company in liquidation situated at No.215, Medavakkam High Road, Madipakkam, Chennai-91, (c) to direct the respondent do not proceed further without intimation to this Court in the light of Section 456 of the Companies Act, 1956.

2. Mr.Sricharan Rangarajan, learned Special Government Pleader (CS) appearing for the respondent would submit that only after due process of law, this matter may be proceeded.

3. In view of such submissions, no further orders is necessary in this Application. The Highways Department is directed to follow due process of law before acquiring the property and proper notice also to be served to the applicant.
