ORDER

The petitioner has come up with the present writ petition for a mandamus, directing the respondents to consider and pass orders on merits by disposing the written representation made by the petitioner on 13.7.2015 within a stipulated time as this Court fixes.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he has lodged a complaint on 13.7.2015 as against one Shaji @ Mandapam Shaji, son of Kuriyan on the allegation that the said Shaji @ Mandapam https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Shaji had kidnapped his wife. But, till date, no action was taken on the said complaint. Hence, the writ petition.

3. Today, when the matter came up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, an enquiry was conducted and based on the statement of the wife of the petitioner, the said complaint was closed. He has also produced a copy of the closure report for perusal of this Court.

4. In view of the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is of the view that the prayer made in this writ petition has become infructuous and this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition.

5. In the result, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in a manner known to law, if he is so advised.
