The relief sought for in this Writ Petition is to quash the order dated 19.07.2021 issued by the 6th respondent as arbitrary and illegal and direct the 4th respondent to conduct 100% visual inspection and laboratory analysis of the impugned goods of the petitioner.
2. Today, when this matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the relief sought for in this writ petition has become infructuous and therefore nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in the petition.
3. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and also the endorsement made by him, this writ petition is dismissed as having become infructuous. No order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 07.08.2024 Vv 3/5
