ORDER

[Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to call for the records pertaining to proceedings dated 07.03.2022 in No.489/JUD/PDM/2020 passed by the respondent and quash the same and consequently, direct the respondent to disburse the retirement benefits to the petitioner.

The petitioner was working as a Copyist in the I Additional District Munsif Court at Puducherry. It appears that the deposition of a witness viz. DW1 in O.S.No.636 of 2000 went missing, in connection with which, disciplinary proceedings were initiated against the petitioner under the Central Civil Services (Conduct) Rules, 1964. The Principal District Munsif, Puducherry, was appointed as the Enquiry Officer and after conducting the enquiry, he has also submitted a report dated 07.03.2022 and

a copy of the said report was furnished to the petitioner and the petitioner has been called upon to give a reply on the enquiry report. It appears that the petitioner has also given a reply by letter dated 18.04.2022. While that being so, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition for quashing the said enquiry report dated 07.03.2022.

Heard Mr.K.S.Karthik Raja, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Syed Mustafa, learned Special Government Pleader (Puducherry) appearing for the respondent.

In our considered opinion, the present writ petition is indeed misconceived, as final orders have not been passed by the disciplinary authority so far.

Hence, this writ petition stands dismissed. It is always open to the petitioner to resort to legal process in accordance with law in the event of any adverse orders being passed against her. No costs. Connected W.M.P. is closed.
