Mrs. Asha Sharma P v. Nil

A.No.7184 of 2018 in O.P.No.372 of 2003 K.KALYANASUNDARAM.,J This application has been filed to grant an Extension of the Succession Certificate to the applicants with power to collect the securities, receive interest and dividends and negotiate and transfer the securities specified in the schedule.

2. The applicants along with her mother Mrs.Vasant P. Asher filed an Original Petition under Section 372 of Indian Succession Act for issuance of Succession Certificate. The said Original Petition was allowed on 17.09.2003.

3. The learned counsel for the applicants would state that the mother of the applicants, viz., Mrs.Vasant P. Asher died intestate on 26.06.2013 and due to inadvertence some of the securities held in the name of the deceased Mr.Prathap Hansraj were missed out and they have been found recently. Hence, this application is filed seeking extension of the succession certificate already granted.
