ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to furnish the copy of the Award passed on 18.10.1985, as per the representation dated 05.11.2014.

2. Mr.S.Pattabiraman, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents and submitted that the first respondent may be directed to consider the representation dated 05.11.2014 within a stipulated time.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that on 05.11.2014 he gave a representation to the first respondent to furnish him the copy of the Award, but the first respondent has not furnished the copy till this date.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the first respondent to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

consider the representation dated 05.11.2014 on merits and in accordance with law and dispose of the same within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
