This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to call for the records and Crime No.90/2010 on the file of the Sub-Inspector of Police, R.K.Pet Police Station, Tiruvallur District and quash the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the 1st respondent.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.D.Senthil, Junior counsel of Mr.N.Sudarsanam, counsel on record submitted that the parties have taken away the bundle.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation in Crime No.90 of 2010 has been completed and final report has been filed before the Judicial Magistrate, Tiruttani against the petitioner for offences under Sections 147, 148, 324, and 506(2) IPC and the charge sheet is ready to be filed before the Jurisdictional Court and that on account of bifurcation of Thiruvallur District, police are unable to file the charge sheet.

5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced the charge sheet and accompanying documents.

6. This Court perused the FIR and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that there are several materials against the petitioner/ accused.

7. In view of the above, this petition is dismissed with a direction to the first respondent police to file the final report in Crime No.90 of 2010 before the Jurisdictional Magistrate, if not already filed, within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
