Petitioner has filed the present petition seeking transfer of F.C.O.P.No.22 of 2016 on the file of Family Court, Chengalpet, to the file of Sub Court, Namakkal.

2. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that the respondent/husband has filed F.C.O.P.No.22 of 2016 on the file of Family Court, Chengalpet, seeking divorce. Submitting that the petitioner/wife is residing at Namakkal and hence, she finds it difficult to travel to Chengalpet to attend the hearing of the case, learned counsel prays for transfer.

3. Learned counsel for respondent has no serious objection.

4. Considering the submissions made, this Court directs transfer of F.C.O.P.No.22 of 2016 on the file of Family Court, Chengalpet, to the file of Sub Court, Namakkal. The transferee Court may refer the parties to mediation.
