Prayer: Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 8 herein to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 11.03.2026 of the petitioner to provide and establish a proper and usable alternate access road to the petitioner's lands bearing Plot Nos.17 and 18 situated in NABARD Nagar, Nanmangalam, comprised in Survey Nos.204/3 and 204/4, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 8 herein to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.03.2026 to provide and establish a proper and usable alternate access road to the petitioner's lands bearing Plot Nos.17 and 18 situated in NABARD Nagar, Nanmangalam, comprised in Survey Nos.204/3 and 204/4, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the absolute owner of the lands bearing Plot Nos.17 and 18 situated in CMDA-approved layout known as NABARD Nagar, Nanmangalam, Sholinganallur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, Tamil Nadu. Due to development activities, all access roads to the petitioner's lands have been blocked. Thereby, the petitioner made a representation on 11.03.2026, however, no alternate access has been provided. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.03.2026 on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 7.

5. In view of the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.03.2026 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
