This petition is filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, to condone the delay of 83 days in preferring the Criminal Appeal against the order of acquittal dated 10.01.2023 passed in S.T.C. No.651 of 2020 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Udhagamandalam.

2. There is no representation on behalf of the respondents and this Court is satisfied with the reasons assigned in the affidavit filed in support of this petition. Hence, the petition is allowed.
