WP No. 17817 of 2026 Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of writ of mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to pay the additional market value at 12 percent per annum on the market value of Rs.1,07,66,670/- as determined under Section 26(1) of the RFCTLARR Act, 2013 in the award passed in Na.Ka. Aa. 1/ 2674/ 2019 dated 14.01.2026 for the period from 20.06.2024 to 14.01.2026 in accordance with Section 3093) of the RFCTLARR Act, 2013 by considering the petitioners representation dated 02.03.2026 within a time frame as may be fixed by this Honble Court. Aa. 1/ 2674/ 2019 dated 20.06.2024 at the rate of 9 percent per annum for the first year, i.e. till 19.06.2025 and thereafter at the rate of 15 percent per annum till 09.01.2026being the date on which the compensation amount was deposited into the petitioners account upon consideration of the petitioners joint representation dated 05.02.2026 within a time frame as may be fixed by this Honble Court.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioners have given a representation dated 20.11.2025, 02.03.2026, 05.02.2026 & 09.12.2025 directing the 1st respondent to pay interest on the delayed payment of compensation amount paid towards deducted 1/3rd development charges as per the award upon consideration of the petitioners' representations dated 20.11.2025, 02.03.2026, 05.02.2026 & 09.12.2025 within a time frame as may be fixed by this Honble Court.

3. In reply, the learned Government Counsel appearing for the official respondents would submit that the petitioners' representations dated 20.11.2025, 02.03.2026, 05.02.2026 & 09.12.2025 will be disposed of by the respondents within a period of twelve weeks.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Counsel for the respondent and also perused the materials available on record.

5. In view of the above, this Court directs the 1st respondents to consider the petitioners' representation dated 20.11.2025, 02.03.2026, 05.02.2026 & 09.12.2025 on its own merits and dispose of the same in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioners as well as the private respondents.

6. With the above directions, these writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
