(The case has been heard through video conference) This petition has been filed to modify the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.11194 of 2020 dated 27.07.2020 directing the petitioner to surrender before the respondent police officer and execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties each for the like sum to the satisfaction of the police officer and to report everyday at 10.30 a.m., for a period of two weeks and thereafter every Monday at 10.30 a.m., until further orders, be modified to
surrender before the Judicial Magistrate - III, Vellore and execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- with two sureties each for the like sum to the satisfaction of the police officer and to report everyday at 10.30 a.m., for a period of two weeks and thereafter every Monday at 10.30 a.m., until further orders in Crime No.6 of 2020. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court had granted anticipatory bail to the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.11194 of 2020 dated 27.07.2020 with some conditions. However, due to the Corona Pandemic situation, the petitioner could not comply with the condition within stipulated period.
3. Heard both sides.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this condition is modified to that effect that the petitioner shall surrender before the Judicial Magistrate - III, Vellore, to execute two sureties within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. Failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand automatically dismissed.
