The prayer sought for in the present petition is to transfer the investigation in Crime No.15 of 2017 on the file of the DCB, Tiruvannamalai to CBCID, Tiruvannamalai.

2. The ground on which the petitioners seek to transfer the investigation, is that there is a little prosecution in the investigation.

3. The learned Government Advocate submitted that the police endeavour is to complete the investigation expeditiously. Since the petitioners' grievance is due to the delay in completing the investigation, it would be appropriate to direct the third respondent in Crime No.15 of 2017 to complete the investigation within a period of eight weeks.
