This Petition has been filed before this Court under the caption "For extension of time" along with the report sent by the learned Special Judge, I Additional Special Court under NDPS Act, Chennai - 104, in Dis.No.5116 of 2022 dated 27.10.2022.

It is seen from the records, while disposing the petition in Crl.O.P.No.15785 of 2022, this Court by an order dated 19.07.2022 directed the trial Court to complete the trial proceedings in C.C.No.139 of 2019, within a period of three months. However, the learned Special Judge, I Additional Special Court under NDPS Act, Chennai - 104, has sent communication dated 27.10.2022 in Dis.No.5116 of 2022, narrating the sequence of proceedings in C.C.No.139 of 2019 and sought further period of three months time to complete the trial in the said case. 3.

Considering the above facts and circumstances of this case, this Court is inclined to grant three months time to complete the trial in C.C.No.139 of 2019 from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 28.11.2022 Lpp 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
