PRAYER:-Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for an issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to change the classification land from Government Promboke land to Ryot land and consequently direct the respondents to change survey number from Old Survey No. 260/10 to 260/12B, the property which is situated in Salem West Registration District, Salem West Sub-Registration office, Kannankurichi Village S.F.No. 260/1B with Patta No.1050, S.F.No. 260/12B, Punjai Hectare 0.01 Kist Rs.0.05 with extent of 980 Sq.feet land in Town Survey land Records and all revenue records of the respondents.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to change the classification of the land more fully described in the prayer to this writ petition from Government Poramboke land to Ryot land. 2.The competent Authority to decide the petitioner's representation is the 5th respondent, who was impleaded on the last hearing date by this Court. Since the petitioner's representation was not originally submitted before the 5th respondent, the petitioner has to give a fresh representation to the 5th respondent for the relief as sought for in this writ petition.
3.Learned counsel for the petitioner on instruction would submit that the petitioner is willing to give a fresh representation in this regard to the 5th respondent.
4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation to the 5th respondent seeking for the relief as prayed for in this writ petition and a direction is issued to the 5th respondent to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law within the time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation seeking to change the classification of the land more fully described in the prayer to this writ petition. 6.For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the petitioner to submit a fresh representation to the 5th respondent, seeking for change of classification of land more fully described in the prayer to this writ petition from Government Poramboke land to Ryot land and consequently to change the survey numbers from Old Survey No.260/10 to 260/12B as prayed for in this writ petition, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the said representation within the stipulated time from the petitioner,
the 5th respondent shall pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the said representation, within a period of three months thereafter. 7.With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 23-01-2026 rst Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes
