ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed to reckon the petitioner's earlier service rendered in the aided school, namely CSI Darling Selvabai David High School for Deaf, Manamadurai, Sivagangai District.

2. Although the services of the petitioner was regularised in his earlier appointment on 01.11.2023, he was subsequently recruited as Secondary Grade Assistant through Teacher Recruitment Board (TRB) by way of a direct recruitment.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that his past services were not reckoned for fixing his salary and other entitlements after joining as a

Secondary Grade Teacher.

4. In this connection, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents would invite the attention of this Court that the rejection order, which denied the petitioner's claim on the ground that the petitioner was treated as a direct recruit, as he was selected through a Public Service Commission, such rejection aligns with Fundamental Rule 22. Accordingly, there is no violation of the Fundamental Rules, while rejecting the claim.
