When the matter is taken up for hearing, by producing a letter dated 17.10.2016 issued by the Area Manager, Food Corporation of India, Chennai-31, learned counsel for the respondents would submit that the pension case of the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

has already been settled by EPFO-Delhi North and therefore, the prayer in the writ petition has become infructuous. 2.Without even knowing the same, the learned counsel for the petitioner has unnecessarily argued the matter. 3.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the respondents, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
