By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that his son, namely, Desingh (P.C.No.1031), who was working as Police Officer in Thellar Police Station, Cheyyar, Thiruvannamlai District, died on 1.6.2013. Since the death benefits of his son were not given, the petitioner made a representation to the first respondent on 09.06.2014 and the same has been forwarded to the second respondent for appropriate action. It is further contended that the petitioner has sent another representation on 8.10.2015 seeking the death benefit and other benefits of his son. But, so far, the respondents have not passed any orders thereon. Hence the present Writ Petition.

3. This Court, considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the case, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 08.10.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The Writ Petition is disposed of, accordingly. No costs.
