Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of certiorari calling for the records of the impugned order passed in OA.1927/2014 dated 28.1.2015 by the 3rd respondent/CAT by which the order the 3rd respondent had dismissed O.A.1927/2014 filed by the petitioner challenging the transfer order No.357/2014 dated 15.12.2014 issued by the 1st respondent and to quash the same as not maintainable in law. [by V.Ramasubramanian, J.] This Writ Petition is filed by a person working as an Appraiser in the Department of Customs at Chennai, challenging the dismissal of his application by the Central Administrative Tribunal, Madras Bench.

2. Heard Mr.N.Viswanathan, learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr.Rajnish Pathiyil, learned senior panel counsel for the respondents.

3. Today, Mr.Rajnish Pathiyil, learned senior panel counsel for the Department of Customs produced copies of two proceedings. By one proceeding, bearing F.No.C13/1/2015-CIU-VIG, dated 20.6.2015, the Chief Commissioner of Customs had considered the representation of the petitioner favourably and decided to issue an order transferring the petitioner from Delhi Customs Zone to Chennai Customs Zone. By a consequential order dated 22.6.2015, bearing No.157/2015 passed by the Commissioner of Customs, the petitioner has been transferred and posted to Chennai Customs Zone with immediate effect. Therefore, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed and accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed.
