O R D E R

The learned counsel for the petitioner states that despite specific direction of this court, the respondent police, to enquire the petitioner, prompt summon should be issued. The respondent had called the petitioner over phone to appear on 18.06.2024. Inspite of appearing before the Investigation Officer on 18.06.2024 and producing all the documents and submitting that the dispute is purely civil in nature, the first respondent is again and again calling the petitioner over phone and pressurizing him to settle the dispute.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent states that pursuant to the direction of this court, summon was issued to the petitioner herein to appear on 24.05.2024, but the petitioner did not appear. Thereafter, the petitioner has never turned up for enquiry. The allegation of harassment is baseless. Since there is contradictory version regarding the participation of the petitioner in the enquiry, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner herein to appear before the first respondent on 10.07.2024 and produce all the documents. On production of the documents, the first respondent shall act in accordance with law and if the dispute is purely 2/4

civil in nature, he should restrain himself from interfering in the civil dispute.
