O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the Criminal Original Petition on hand has been instituted challenging the charge sheet filed in C.C.No.1056 of 2018 on the file of the VII Metropolitan Magistrate at George Town Chennai dated April 26, 2018. During the pendency of this criminal original petition, the trial commenced, and 13 witnesses have already been examined.

2. Since the trial is in progress, the learned counsel for the petitioner on instruction sought to withdraw the present petition and made an endorsement to that effect. However, this Court directs the Trial Court to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible.

3. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.
