Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Declaration declaring that the levy, impost, collection or demand of water tax for the premises situated at No.1/1, Railway Colony, 4th Street, Nelson Manickam Road, Aminjikarai, Chennai-600 029 as unconstitutional and consequently issue a Mandamus by forbearing the respondents from any manner levy, impost, collection or demand water tax from the petitioner other than by following the provisions contained in the Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Act of 1978.
