By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. According to the petitioner, the Government of India introduced various Health Programmes to control certain diseases and one such programme was "National Malarial Eradication Programme and National Filarial Control Programme". The petitioner was appointed as Health Inspector in the respondent Corporation for such programme on 21.3.1979 and he was absorbed in the Health Department as regular employee on 29.5.1990 and he retired on attaining the age of superannuation on 30.6.2014.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that his service rendered between 21.03.1979 and 29.05.1990 were not taken into consideration for calculating pension and pay revision. Hence, he gave a representation to the respondent dated 31.08.2015, which was not considered favourably.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent.

Considering the facts of the case and the nature of relief sought for, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, permits the petitioner to give a fresh representation along with a copy of this order to the respondent, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such representation, the respondent shall consider the same and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks thereafter, and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.

6. The Writ Petition is disposed of, accordingly. No costs.
