The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 22.06.2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 3(2)(a), 4(1), 5(1)a of Immoral Traffic Prevention Act in crime No.127 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with two others solicited prostitution on 21.06.2022 at Grand Residency Lodge, Ajis Mulk 6th Street, Thousand Lights, Chennai by indulging one victim girl. Hence, the case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is employed as a Manager in the said hotel and except the same, he is no way connected with the said crime. Hence, he prays for grant of bail to the petitioner.

4. The Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that there are two victims, who have already been secured by the respondent police. He would further submit that the petitioner has no previous cases. However, he vehemently opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. It is seen that there are totally three accused, in which the petitioner is arrayed as A1, who along with the other accused persons is running a prostitution businees. Further, he was arrested only on 21.06.2022. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed. 08.07.2022 lok
