Though the petitioner has sought for a direction to the respondents to measure the land of 0.24 ares in survey No.219/6 at Pugaipatti Village, Kallakurichi Taluk, based upon the representation dated 08.09.2014, what the petitioner wants is, consideration for issuance of patta in respect of the said land in his favour.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. Considering the facts of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dated 8.9.2014 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the third parties, if any. Such an order can be passed either by the respondent or by directing any of his subordinate officials to do so. Considering the fact that the said representation is said to have been made by the petitioner more than a year ago, the petitioner is directed to submit another representation on the same lines within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order by enclosing a copy of this order. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
