The present writ petition has been preferred for a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the 1st respondent/Inspector of Police from interfering with the Civil Suit dispute of money transaction between the petitioner and the 2nd and 3rd respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. It is well known that in Civil disputes, Police shall not interfere and convert it into criminal case.

3. Learned Government Advocate, appearing for the 1st respondent would submit that the 1st respondent has not indulged in such activities. The complaint is said to have been made in the year 2014 and this Court is of the considered opinion that the issue would have become obsolete by now. However, it is clearly observed that the respondents shall not indulge in converting a civil litigation into a criminal case.

4. Recording the statement of Government Advocate Mr.Tippu Sultan, that the 1st respondent has not interfered with the issue, this writ petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
