Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to provide the petitioner for personal security officers with Arms, based on the petitioner's representation dated 09.02.2023 within the time frame fixed by this Hon'ble Court.

The petitioner herein a member of the political party, fearing threat to life since some unknown persons are threatening him at odd hours, thus he had given a representation to the second respondent police for protection but no action has been taken. Hence, he seeks for police protection from this Court to provide personal security officer with arms. 2.
The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that representation is under consideration and appropriate order will be passed within a period of two weeks on the representation given by the petitioner. 2/4
