This criminal original petition has been filed seeking to quash the case in Cr.No.3 of 2014 on the file of the first respondent police insofar as the petitioner is concerned. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent police would submit that in this case, the first respondent has completed the investigation and filed a charge sheet before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Erode, and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.133 of 2014 and now pending for trial.

In view of the above submissions nothing survives in this petition and hence this criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
