Respondents PETITION under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.08.2012 and direct the respondents to issue patta to the petitioner for the lands measuring 36 cents comprised in Survey No.26/1 and lands measuring 58 cents comprised in Survey No.27, totally measuring 94 cents in Manapakkam village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District.

From the records, it is seen that the petitioner made misrepresentation on 21.8.2012 to the 3rd respondent seeking granting of patta for the lands measuring 36 cents comprised in Survey No.26/1 and lands measuring 58 cents comprised in Survey No.27, totally measuring 94 cents in Manapakkam village, Sriperumbudur Taluk, Kancheepuram District. The said representation was followed by the subsequent reminders dated 7.11.2012 and 9.9.2014 and the legal notice dated 9.10.2015. Despite the same, non enquiry was conducted by the respondents. 2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. Considering the facts of the case, without going into the merits of the same, a direction is hereby issued to the 3rd respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the above representations dated 21.8.2012, 7.11.2012 and 9.9.2014 said to have been made by the petitioner either by himself or through his subordinate Officers, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as the third parties, if any.
