This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus Directing the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 24.08.2020 seeking for grant of patta in the name of Veerabadhara Swamy Temple situated in S.No.146, Udayamathur Village, Tirupattur Taluk, Tirupattur District.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the representation dated 24.08.2020, wherein the petitioner is seeking for grant of patta in the name of the temple with respect to the subject property.

Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the second respondent has already fixed the date for enquiry on 05.11.2020 at 4.00 p.m. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioner can be present at the time of enquiry along with all the relevant documents.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the second respondent has already called the parties for enquiry, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to conduct enquiry and pass final orders strictly in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.

This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
