ORDER
Mr.B.Anandan, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the first respondent and Mr.N.Inbanathan, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the second respondent. By consent of the learned counsel appearing for the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final hearing.
2. The petitioner would claim that the land measuring an extent of 0.10 3⁄4 cents (435.43 sq.mt.) in Old Survey No.412/1 and New Survey No.490/12 was originally owned by his grand father Kali @ Muruga Gounder. It is further claimed that by execution of settlement deed dated 27.02.2017, he became the absolute owner of the property and patta was issued in his name. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that his representation made to the first respondent for issuance of property tax receipt was not considered and hence he has come up with this writ petition.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if a direction is issued to the first respondent to dispose of his representation.
5. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be disposed of by the first respondent in accordance with law.
6. In the light of the above submissions and also taking note of facts in this case, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 15.03.2018 on merits and in accordance with law, after providing an opportunity of personal hearing to the necessary parties, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
