PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner for the defacto complainant alleged complaint its was pending on the file of the respondent police.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner for the defacto complainant's alleged complaint which is pending on the file of the respondent police.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that one Karthikeyan had lodged a complaint as if the petitioner had financial transaction and received some money, based on which, summons has been issued.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) has submitted that the petitioner along with Suresh Kumar and his wife Nathiya has received a sum of Rs.28 lakhs from the said Karthikeyan. The said Nathiya had appeared on 02.08.2021 and promised that the issue will be resolved with the said Karthikeyan, after consulting her husband Suresh Kumar and Chidambaram. Thereafter, the above petition has been filed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes that Chidambaram, Suresh Kumar and Nathiya will appear before the respondent police and offer their explanation on 01.09.2021.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
