Prayer in W.P.No.17907 of 2021: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records and quashing the rejection order dated 26.07.2021 of the second respondent and consequently direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner bearing Enrolment No.1404690 as Grade-II Police Constable for the year 2020.

COMMON ORDER The petitioners have filed these writ petitions for a Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records and to quash the rejection order dated 26.07.2021 of the second respondent and consequently direct the respondents to appoint the petitioners bearing Enrolment Nos.1404690 and 1402346 as GradeII Police Constable for the year 2020.

2. Appearing on behalf of the respondents, the learned Government Advocate for the respondents submits that there is a proposal for conducting physical test on the 6th and 7th of September 2021 for those candidates who missed the physical test due to Covid-19.

3. Considering the above, the petitioners are permitted to appear before the respondents on 06.09.2021 and/or 07.09.2021 for physical measurements. The physical measurements shall be carried out in the presence of the Superintendent of Police, Salem District. The physical measurements shall also be strictly carried out in compliance with the decision of the Full Bench of this Court vide Judgment dated 29.01.2020 in W.A.Nos.8 to 12, 14 to 16, 23 & 24 of 2020.

4. These Writ Petitions stand disposed of with the above observations.

No costs.

Consequently, connected Writ Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
