Petition seeking bail in connection with Crime No. 73 of 2026 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 126(2), 296(b), 309(4), 311, 351(3) of BNS @ 309(4), 311 of BNS, is on board for consideration. 1/4

The case of the prosecution is that the accused restrained the de facto complainant and robbed a sum of Rs.500/- from him by threatening him at knife point. Hence the case.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner/A2 submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and has been falsely implicated in this case. He also submitted that the petitioner is suffering incarceration from 10.03.2026 and he is ready to abide by any stringent condition that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed for the grant of bail to the petitioner. 4.

Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent reiterated the prosecution case and opposed for the grant of bail. He further submitted that the petitioner is arrayed as A2 in this case and the first accused in this case has been detained under Act 14. He also submitted that the investigation is still pending and that in respect of the petitioner, eight previous cases are pending. He further submitted that this is the second application for bail filed by the petitioner.

Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. 2/4

Taking note of the facts and circumstances of the case, nature of allegations, submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and considering the antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 06.05.2026 ham To 1.
