ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Section 465, 468 and 420 of IPC in Crime No.256 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The case of the prosecution is that the first petitioner is the owner of the said vehicle and the second petitioner is the driver. The defacto complainant who is the RTO Mayiladuthurai seized the vehicle for the alleged change of number plate in the said vehicle and thereby cheated.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in this case.

5. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that RTO Mayiladuthurai seized the said vehicle for the alleged change of number plate and the petitioners produced documents pertaining to some other vehicle and thereby cheated.

6. Considering the facts of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed.
