Earlier, this Court by an order dated 02.02.2022 directed the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- to the credit of Crime No.40 of 2021 within a period of fifteen days and the same was extended till 16.03.2022. Now, this petition has been filed seeking for extension of time.

2. Today, when the matter taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for petitioner submitted that as the time extended for deposit of amount is expired, he seeks extension of time. However, the learned counsel had filed a memo stating that satisfaction court was mistakenly mentioned as learned Judicial Magistrate, CCB and CBCID, Egmore, Chennai instead of Metropolitan Magistrate, CCB and CBCID, Egmore, Chennai. Hence, he prayed to amend the same. 1/3

3. Considering his submissions, the time granted by this court in Crl.M.P. No. 2668 of 2022 is extended till 27.07.2022 and amendment in the satisfaction court as Metropolitan Magistrate, CCB and CBCID, Egmore, Chennai is also ordered.

4. Registry is directed to carry out the necessary amendment in the petition and order copy in Crl.O.P.No.2267 of 2022 dated 02.02.2022 and issue fresh order copy.
