ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to modify the condition imposed in the order dated 24.03.2026 in Crl. O.P. No.4382 of 2026 passed by this Court.

2. The petitioner was granted bail vide order dated 24.03.2026 passed in Crl OP No.4382 of 2026 by this Court. At that time, this Court has imposed

condition [b] in para no.7 which reads as follows: "7.[b] the petitioner shall report before the respondent police every day at 10.30 a.m. until further orders, and no petition for relaxation of this condition shall be entertained for a period of 60 days."

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has filed this petition to modify the said condition since the petitioner's residence is situated 65 kilometers away from the respondent police station. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) would submit that the petitioner was complying with the conditions regularly and the investigation is pending.

4. Considering the submissions putforth on either side, considering the fact that the petitioner had complied with the conditions regularly, I am inclined to modify the condition to the effect that "the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police on every first day of English Calendar month for a period of three months.". The other conditions imposed in the order dated 24.03.2026 in Crl. O.P. No.4382 of 2026 shall remain unaltered.

5. Accordingly, the condition is modified.
