Respondents Prayer:- This Writ Petition is filed, under the Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent and 2nd respondent to take necessary legal measures to consider the representation of the Petitioner dated 16.07.2014 and given necessary legal protection to the property of the petitioner and not to disturb the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the property to the extent of 0.24 cents, situated in Survey No.20/12B, at Pappnallur Village, Madhuranthagam Taluk, Kancheepuram District, except due process of law. ORDER

The learned Government Advocate submits that the relief https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

sought for in this Writ Petition has been settled. He further produced a letter in Na.Ka.No.696/2014/Aa1 dated 06.04.2019 wherein, the Tahsildar, Madhuranthagam, has pointed out that the dispute has been resolved by execution of an unregistered gift deed and the said land is now used by the public as pathway; as on today, there is no law and order problem in using the said pathway by the public.

2. Recording the above submission, this Writ Petition is dismissed as nothing survives for adjudication. The report of the Thasildar, dated 06.04.2019 is recorded. No costs. Consequently, connected MP is closed.
