O R D E R

The above Civil Revision Petition has been filed by the defendants to strike off the plaint in O.S.No.223 of 2016 pending on the file of the District Munsif Court, Sriperumbudur, Kancheepuram District in view of the bar under Section 18 of the Trade Union Act in entertaining the suit by a Civil Court.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners/defendants submitted that the defendants have also filed an application under Order 7 Rule 11 of the Code of Civil Procedure to reject the plaint before the trial Court. The learned counsel further submitted that the trial Court may be directed to dispose of the Order 7 Rule 11 application within a time frame. 3.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Civil Revision Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the District Munsif Court, Sriperumbudur to dispose of the application filed by the defendants under Order 7 Rule 11 of the Code of Civil Procedure on or before 30.06.2017.

4.With these observations, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Index : No 23.03.2017 Internet : Yes va To The District Munsif Court, Sriperumbudur, Kancheepuram District.
