The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 10.10.2015, filed against the cancellation of DBBL Gun License No.270/490/TNV changed as COP.L.No.220/08 in Rc.No.G6/30561/2014 dated 21.09.2015.

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted an appeal on 10.10.2015, claiming the same relief as prayed in this writ petition, but, the said appeal is yet to be disposed of by the respondent.

3. Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 10.10.2015 and pass orders in accordance with law.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 10.10.2015 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
