The wife seeks transfer of FCOP No.211 of 2021 on the file of the Family Court, Vellore to the Family Court, Chennai.

2. The transfer is sought for mainly on the ground of convenience of the wife who is a resident of Athivakkam, Redhills which does not fall within the jurisdiction of the Family Court at Chennai. Therefore, the request for transfer to the Family Court at Chennai is not just.

3. However, considering the convenience of the wife and the fact that she is residing in Redhills, FCOP No.211 of 2021 is withdrawn from the file of the Family Court, Vellore and transferred to the Sub Court Thiruvallur to be tried and disposed of in accordance with law. The Sub Court, Thiruvallur is situate around 24 km from Redhills and the proceedings being transferred to the Sub Court, appearance of the parties for every hearing is not necessary.
