The present Contempt Petition has been filed by petitioner alleging non-compliance of the order of this Court passed in W.P.No.19891 of 2013 dated 18.12.2013, in
which this Court directed as follows:
"For all the reasons stated above, I am of the opinion that the impugned order of the first respondent dated 30.06.2013 is liable to be set aside and accordingly, set aside and the writ petition is allowed. The respondents are directed to consider the claim of the petitioner for promotion as Deputy Superintendent of Police, Category - I in the panel of the year 2011-2012 published by the second respondent in Police Note No.9, Home Department dated 06.07.2012 and promote him as Deputy Superintendent of Police, Cat-I, and grant him appropriate placement and further grant him all consequential service and monetary benefits on per with his junior within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed."
2. Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. Today, when the Contempt Petition is taken up for consideration, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the above said order of this Court had been complied with by the respondents herein. In proof of which, a copy of the proceedings G.O.(Ms) No.74 dated 05.02.2018 passed by the respondents herein has been produced before this Court. This Court also gone through the same.
4. Since the order of this Court had been complied with by the respondent, nothing further survives for consideration in this Contempt Petition, which is accordingly closed. No costs.
