Respondent Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to refund the security deposit amount of Rs.2,44,000/- paid by the petitioner pursuant to bearing Tender No.Rc.No.583/PA/2015 of the respondent dated 19.10.2015 along with interest @ 18% per annum from the date of submission of tender till date of payment.

The writ petition is filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to refund the security deposit amount of Rs.2,44,000/- paid by the petitioner pursuant to Tender bearing No.Rc.No.583/PA/2015 of the respondent, dated 19.10.2015, along with interest @ 18% per annum.

2.Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the prayer in the writ petition has become infructuous, as the security deposit amount for which the petitioner filed the writ petition, had already been paid to the petitioner on 15.02.2017.
