Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose the Statutary Revision filed U/s. 153 of the Tamilnadu Coop. Societies Act, 1983 by the petitioner on 07.12.2012, within a stipulated time.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as Secretary of Vishnuvakkam Primary Agricultural Coop. Credit Society at Vishnuvakkam, Tiruvallur District. Whileso, the second respondent after suspending the petitioner from service regarding the issuance of crop loan, has terminated his services on 13.08.2012. Challenging the said order, the petitioner has preferred a Statutory Revision, before the first respondent on 07.12.2012.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the first respondent has not disposed of the appeal, for the past three years. Hence, the petitioner has come forward to file this Writ Petition.

4.Heard the submissions of Mr.C.Prakasam, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

5. This Court considering the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition and without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the Statutory Revision filed by the petitioner on 07.12.2012 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
