Respondents PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code to issue direction or order as: a) calling for records in C.C.121 of 2014 pending before the Court of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.4, Salem and quash the same as far as the petitioner is concerned.

b) directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to constitute a Special Investigation Team to investigate the involvement of Police Personnel and other vested interests

in implicating the petitioner in C.C.No.121 of 2014 as accused No.2 and showing the petitioner as absconding accused.

c) directing the 1st respondent to pay a fair and just amount of compensation to the petitioner to the mental agony and loss of peace due to the abusal of power by the respondents 5 and 6.

d) directing the 6th respondent to pay an amount as this Court may fix, as penalty for her deliberate false complaint made against the petitioner, to the Tamil Nadu State Legal Service Authority.

O R D E R

(The case has been heard through video conference) When the matter is taken up today for consideration, there is no representation for the petitioner. 2.Learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that the petition has been filed to call for the records and quash the C.C.No.121 of 2014, pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.4, Salem against the petitioner for the offence u/s.420 IPC. There was no stay in the matter. Meanwhile, the trial proceeded and that the petitioner was found not guilty and he was acquitted u/s.248(i) Cr.P.C., on 04.06.2019.

3.Since the trial in C.C.No.121 of 2014 has been completed and the petitioner has been acquitted, nothing survives in this petition for further adjudication. This Criminal Original Petition stands closed accordingly. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
