ORDER

This petition is filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.3 of 2014 on the file of the 1st respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. The 2nd respondent gave a complaint against the petitioners and on that basis, the 1st respondent register a case in Crime No.3 of 2014 for offence punishable under Sections 498A, 406, 323, 506(i) IPC, Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act and Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu prohibition of Women Harassment Act.

4. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the 2nd respondent has compromised the matter with the petitioners and the 2nd respondent has also filed an affidavit to that effect and she has no objection to allow this application. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.The 2nd respondent is present in Court and her identity was also verified. She admitted that she filed an affidavit and also admitted that she has settled the matter with the petitioners and has no objection to quash the complaint given by her. As the 2nd respondent has compromised the matter with the petitioners and considering the matrimonial offence were said to have been committed and the parties also entered into compromise, this petition is allowed and the FIR in Crime No.3 of 2014 is quashed.
