Respondent Prayer: Transfer CMP is filed under Section 24 of the Civil Procedure Code, to withdraw I.D.No.509 of 2018 pending on the file of the Labour Court, Kancheepuram and transfer the same to the file of the Hon'ble Labour Court at Chennai, for trial and disposal along with I.D.No.442 of 2017 pending therein.

ORDER

The transfer petition is filed to withdraw I.D.No.509 of 2018 pending on the file of the Labour Court, Kancheepuram and transfer the same to the file of the Labour Court at Chennai for trial and disposal, along with I.D.No.442 of 2017 pending therein.

2. The petitioner management states that other connected industrial disputes, raised by the respondent trade union, is pending before the labour Court at Chennai. That apart, the members of the respondent Trade Union are working in the factory at Vanagaram, which falls within the territorial jurisdiction of Chennai Labour Court and thus, the case is to be transferred.

3. Learned counsel for the respondent also contended that the members of the respondent sangam are employed at the Vanagaram unit, which falls within the territorial jurisdiction of Chennai Labour Court and they have no objection for transferring the case.

4. In view of the facts and circumstances, the I.D.No.508 of 2018 pending on the file of the Labour Court, Kancheepuram stands transferred to the Labour Court, Chennai to be tried along with I.D.O.P.No.442 of 2017.

5. Accordingly, the transfer petition stands allowed. There will be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 22.12.2022 drm Index : Yes / No Speaking order / Non-speaking order To
