These petitions is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the 6th respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation made by the petitioner dated 01.09.2015 relating
to issuance of the patta in Survey No. 239/2, Extent of 2 acre, situated at Ramapuram Village, Ambattur Taluk (presently Maduravoyil Taluk) Porur Revenue Firka No. 71, Thiruvallur District, within the period stipulated by this Court. ORDER
As both the cases are concerned with identical facts, they have been taken up together and disposed of by a common order. In both the cases, the petitioners made their respective representations on 01.09.2015 to the respondents seeking issuance of patta with respect to an extent of 2 acre, in Survey No. 239/2, situated at Ramapuram Village, Ambattur Taluk (presently Maduravoyil Taluk) Porur Rvenue Firka No. 71, Thiruvallur District.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the representations made by the petitioners, may be directed to be disposed of by the respondent No.6. Heard the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3. Considering the pendency of the representations dated 01.09.2015 made by the petitioners, without going into the merits of the case, the respondent No. 6 is directed to consider the representations made by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
