ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to conduct further investigation in Crime No.735 of 2021.

2. It is the grievance of the petitioner that despite the petitioner had raised all his suspects before the third respondent during enquiry, the third respondent has denied all the suspects and confirmed the death of the petitioner's father as suicide. Hence, he seeks direction to the third respondent to conduct the further investigion.

3. Mr.Leonard Arul Joseph Selvam, Government Advocate (crl.side) would submit that the petitioner's father is a cancer patient and he fell down from the top floor and committed suicide.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) for the respondents. 2/4

Considering the fact that investigation has not been completed and the postmortem report also indicated that the deceased would have died due to effects of multiple injuries, it requires proper investigation. Accordingly, the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Nungambakkam is directed to conduct further investigation in Crime No.735 of 2021 and file report expeditiously.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
